New owners, Andrew and Clare Valender, have today unveiled the contemporary new logo and branding for Norton Grounds. In line with the couple’s desire to maintain the character and history of the 18th Century farm, while also giving it a modern feel, the new logo brings together a mix of old and new.
The Norton Grounds logo features an oak tree at its heart, bringing to life one of Andrew’s happy memories of his childhood at the farm. “My brother and I planted an acorn about 30 years ago which has grown into a beautiful oak tree to the side of the house. The tree symbolises the heritage of Norton Grounds, which has been home to my family for three generations, and I’m delighted we have been able to reflect that in our logo.”
A contemporary colour and modern take on a classic serif typeface also feature in the new branding, which is to be used across all elements of the holiday accommodation and equestrian business.
The new logo and branding is one of a number of changes the couple have made to put their personal stamp on the business, including the redecoration of the bed and breakfast rooms and the introduction of a children’s play area and relaxing hammocks for guests to use while staying at Norton Grounds.
