Barn Weddings
The Threshing Barn lovingly restored and reimagined to maintain its character and heritage with exposed stone and timbers. It radiates a cosy, modern rustic charm with lovely natural light, views across the terraces and gardens, flagstone floors (with underfloor heating) and easy access to washrooms on ground and first floor behind our ‘minstrel’s gallery.
The options:
Wedding ceremony with up to 120 family and guests
A seated reception for up to 80 guests.
A drinks reception for up to 150 guests.
Host your pre or post wedding gatherings (Friday, Sunday lunch or brunch) in this flexible space.
The Cow Shed seamlessly connects to the Threshing Barn through large oak concertina doors, a true ‘wow moment’ when they slide back to reveal the space beyond.
A very different ‘feel’ to the Threshing Barn with reclaimed wooden walls with exposed stonework, polished concrete floor and leather banquette seating running the entire length.

Ideal for civil marriages for up to 150 guests.
A seated reception for up to 130 guests.
A fantastic space for a live music, dancefloor or bar and lounge areas.
A drinks reception for up to 150 guests.
Whether you choose to host your drinks reception in the Threshing Barn courtyard or on the peaceful lawn in front of the Farmhouse, you and your guests will be surrounded by beautiful gardens that retain their interest all year round and are tended by our team of gardeners.
Raised herb beds, planters upcycled from agricultural equipment to make interesting planters, rose beds, herbaceous border, lavender and rosemary hedges and mature magnolia trees combine to make the various garden areas a visual and scented delight!
The Threshing Barn has easy access to a kitchen prep area where either your caterer of choice or one from our list of recommended local suppliers and can prepare and serve a range of food options to suit your vision, taste and budget.
Our mobile bar crafted from upcycled wood, metalwork and urban-chic lighting adds another element of flexibility to your day and night allowing drinks to be served from pretty much any location.
