Norton Grounds has everything you need for the perfect break. In the heart of the countryside and within easy reach of some of the UK’s most breath-taking scenery and award-winning attractions, our beautiful self-catering cottages offer the ideal location for a holiday with friends and family, or a private retreat to relax and unwind. Each of our four self-contained cottages have been converted from farm buildings that once housed doves, poultry, pigs and cattle.
The ancient stonework and beams have been sensitively retained and kept visible during the restoration ensuring each has its own unique character and rustic charm while offering all the modern amenities and equipment you’ll need to ensure the perfect Cotswolds escape.
Be it a short family break with dogs or as the perfect base from which to tour the surrounding area. We also have personal trainers and mobile spas that regular visit so why not add a workout followed by a relaxing massage to your stay?
Hot tubs can be hired (subject to availability) for Groves Barn and Dovecote. We are lucky to have excellent local pubs and restaurants nearby, many serving excellent takeaway dishes.
Please note, if you have booked one of our cottages we will never be holding a wedding during your stay to ensure a peaceful break.

We are very happy to share our personal recommendations of course but each cottage includes a welcome pack with lots of useful info and contacts for taxis, great places to eat and local attractions.
Dogs
Well behaved dogs with considerate owners are welcome in Groves Barn, Old Mill Barn, Dovecote and Boddington Barn but we would ask they are not allowed onto furniture or into
bedrooms. A clean dog crate is available if required and dog sitting and walking can be booked in advance.
Welcome hamper
On arrival you will find a hamper containing a mix of local produce.

If you’re looking to arrange a special treat while you’re here, from pamper parties and wine tasting to expert tours of local gardens such as Kiftsgate Court, let us know and we’ll do our best to put you in touch with the people who can make it happen.
Activities for children
We have a small outdoor play area for children as well as books, games, DVDs and a WiiU and Xbox in Groves Barn. There is plenty to explore in the grounds and gardens but the farm does
have an unfenced pond and other hazards you would expect on a working farm so children should be always supervised.

Catering
Catering can be arranged during your stay or for a special occasion if booked well in advance. Ready-prepared home-cooked meals can be delivered to your cottage in
advance or a la carte catering provided to order. Contact us for details.
Food shopping
If you wish to order groceries a from supermarket, local farm shop or butchers to be delivered in advance of your arrival, just let us know and we’ll happily unpack everything for you, so you
arrive to a fully stocked fridge and cupboards!
